im probably not going to update to mountain lion since i wont use those features. i rarely play games on my mac, i use skype instead, i use notes on my dashboard, no need for airplay mirroring because i think its just as easy when i transfer movies to my hard drive and link my hard drive to my tv. notification is not needed. whenever i get an email my phone alerts me. i think the? only useful feature to me is the sharing feature. i ain't going to upgrade to this version unless its free.

I have a Macbook late 2008 unibody aluminum. I still prefer the performance of Windows 7 via BootCamp over Mac OS X. OS X's RAM management is pretty lame from my experience compared to Windows. Windows also has a much better gaming experience on the same computer which? means OS X's graphics management isn't up to par for that purpose. Still think I'm poor?

They are? :o I installed Steam via Wine on Ubuntu and it's kind of unstable from my experience. The one main thing I don't like about Ubuntu 12 is its multi-touch/Mac trackpad support...it doesn't work too well at the moment. It also? tends to make my Macbook warmer than running Windows or Mac OS X. And then there's the Unity Dock, which is slow to activate while on the bottom, but gets in the way on the left since a lot of window-management is done from the left-side.

I think GateKeeper will be awesome. First it's just more safe, if it's set strict, every App you have installed, is reviewed by an Apple worker. For sure doesn't mean it's replacing anti-virus software, because there are some "stupid" Apple reviewer. Another point is, that much more Apps will come to the App Store, which means the usability and easiness to get a simple App, will become more? and more easy, by just clicking on Install, instead of Download, Open, Copy to Applications.

I think it is exciting, the release of OS X:? Mountain Lion. It is only a year after the release of Mac OS X: Lion. I am not expecting a lot but, as I mentioned earlier, I think it is exciting because they are making their products more seamless. I don't mind that. When iCloud and iOS 5 were released, I was a bit disgruntled because I didn't think that they were properly integrated into the Mac, e.g. Reminders in iCal. I am more pleased to see that it, Reminders, gets its own application.
