And the same idea is used in Half-Life 2, where the Thumpers bothers and thus keeps the Antlions away. Or in the Dune universe, especially Dune 2000, where Thumper infantry can keep worms distracted so they don't eat all your troops crossing the desert. I like the idea, honestly, so seeing it in FireFall was a bonus ala "That's really a cool design and way to do it" kind of way. Also explains why you have to bring a gun to a mining operation xD?

That's not the way it works in Firefall. :) (i am in beta) Thumping actually is a lot like the preview video minus the giant tentacle satan. You get set up, you call down a thumper, and you kill lots and lots of bugs.? If they don't kill you first, the thumper fills up and goes home and you get a share of the resources it gathered.

Haha was gonna get this game today, but i checked out the online-stats for this game first before i was gonna buy, and boy i'm glad i did that. CRAPCOM are just a bunch of ****ing crooks, i found out they already have the dlc characters on the disc, which they just want you to pay for to unlock. (not really ****ing dlc is it?) and the latest? patch for this game has a FATAL RESET ERROR when some character who throws knives clashes with another projectile.

Not really. You will understand the inside jokes a little better, but the stories are completely different. Deus Ex is a brilliant game on its own but its so old now that it's a really jarring experience to go back and play,? even with HD textures. It would be lost on most people, in the same vein that if you were to hand Half Life 1 to a 13 year old kid today, he'd totally miss the point.

Human Revolution is a prequel to DX1, so you should be good, but I still recommend that you play the first? one first, it gives you a little knowledge about the tech and story etc. Stay away from Invisible War though, it's for your own good

It's unfortunate? really because the game in itself is great, but the glitches drive you up the wall once you experience them. The save system is atrocious. Lost my save files twice and had to start again. Second time was actually a rage inducer as I was fairly far in the game. You can't even rename you save files :S

Wait a sec' I just used a tranquillizer. Why are you going to show a skull icon? What the fudge?! I'm playing this as a ghost/pacifist and somehow, someway in the level where you face Barett I allegedly got spotted. There's? no freaking way I was spotted. I was forensically careful like friggin' Columbo! I reckon the game glitched when I took out an enemy when he was in the middle of a turn. For some reason that triggered something it shouldn't have. Spend all that time and then that happens :S

Love this game, but I also hate it so much. The glitches ruin what would otherwise have been a 10/10 experience. Really really shoddy testing. There are so many bugs and the achievements bug are a game breaker. How could they mess up such a thing? They may as well have not included? achievements. I mean I had to take a break of a few months to calm the hell down. Absolutely unnerving glitches/stupid registering of certain criteria. Lest I mention the tranq/, but apparently dead brain fuck.

In a good way. The ideas for Section 8 were great but it was terrible. LOL, they released it on xbl for $15 and it was an immediate flop. I hope they kick it in gear when it comes to advertising for Dust 514 though. The lifespan of EVE online is very long and will continue to lengthen. The thing is, console games always have a rather short life span. People start playing and love it...then they lose interest,? and before you know it..you only have a couple hundred if not a few thousand players.

Fine, all of these characters were rip offs. And where is Sub-Zero in the list? The ONLY char that basically came from scrap and the truly iconic one from the original trilogy! Of course that the 'get? over here' would be repeated since it was the only line in the entire game. It was heard in my neighborhood as well, and still, Scorpion was not the most popular char. In fact, peak of Scorpion's popularity (not the one he has Boon's anti-Sub campaign to thank for) came with MK2.

cont: ...parry or dodge against them. Thats basically? the only thing i can complain about regarding the combat. I basically had to get used to the system and it works decently against human npc's, but animals/monsters you have no block/parry/dodge against and it makes you (or at least me) feel like a crappy fighter although your supposed to be a high level sword wielding pirate champ. :) You must agree on that? Anyway, great story and adventure. Hope they improve combat for next games. ;)

Hi there. The auto saves can be set yes, but not that the saves are created separately. If you press quick save (F5) 10 times then you have 10 saves... That must be a miss by the developers as in their other games its not like that, and 99% of all other games "overwrite" when quicksaving. It messes up SSD drives a bit as writing new sectors isnt good.? And yes i have given the game a chance because i like the story, however the combat mechanics against animals/monsters is pretty bad due to no...

IT"S STILL ALOT CHEAPER then you pay 100$ for Grand Theft Auto or so on.. if your a AOE Fan and strategy game player .. This is a Must not be Missed GAME to play.. And? i really love to clarify that this is NOT a PAY to WIN game . No. Having played every Age Of Empires game I can tell you this is literally the worst thing that has happened to the franchise, it has gone from a fairly enjoyable game with balanced gameplay down to a rubbish pay to win tripefest. Also, what? the hell do you play on?

I'm sick and tired of people saying ammo hax and all that other bullshit, if you'd actually researches the game a bit? or you've played it, you'd know sothing called gun channeling, bullets do more damage and you do have to reload. There's even a split second where you see the darkness envelope his guns and they make the different sound.

(1 to 4 players) after the single player campaign - as they're a lot of fun with the 4x different playable characters ;o) PS. you can play the Vendetta missions single-player if? you like.
